Churpi is made from yak and cow milk . The brief process of making of churpi is , first of all the raw milk is separated with the help of separator in order to separate fats present in the milk . And then non-fat milk called skimmed milk with no fats , boiled with an addition of lemon and salt in order to extract cheese from the skimmed milk and then these cheese are dried and smoked in a traditional method in order to give the real taste to the order to give the real taste to the churpi .
